For 37 years, Kim has led a unique life exploring the road less traveled, staying true to her adventurous soul and spirit of giving back. Kim uses outdoor education as a portal to extraordinary human experience. Her unique gift inspires people to shine, explore what is possible and discover there is more in them than they know.
As founder of both Chicks with Picks and Mind Over Mountains, Kim has converted her outdoor experience to profound leadership and outdoor skill development for women. As an Outward Bound program manager and facilitator for the Colorado Outward Bound School’s adult renewal and professional development program, Kim has guided courses in Nepal, Italy, Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Colorado and Utah that include teambuilding, leadership development, management and technical skills training. She is enthusiastic about encouraging people to face fears, expand self-limiting perceptions and lead from the heart. Kim has a degree in Leadership, Outdoor Education & Natural Science from Prescott College. She is a Certified Professional Coach C.P.C.C. with additional training in Organization & Relationship Coaching Systems and neuroscience.
